Okay, BarbeQue up north here is pretty hard to come by. especially GOOD barbeque… Hickory Bill has been makin’ brisket and pork butt and ribs here in town for five years, before that in the surrounding area. One of the Gutbucket guys had him cater his wedding even! the spicy and regular sauce is fantastic, and the potato salad is great, and you can get everything from full plates to sandwiches. And Bill, well, he’s the one who will be cooking for you and serving you. Just don’t go and get your own soda out of the fridge! like you would in new york. i did that the first time i visited. Big Mistake. hospitality quotient is high…

yeah, bill and i had a little conversation a few days ago. it’s gettin’ harder and harder for him cuz the numbers are down touristically this year as well… that’s why we gotta get on over there!

When I lived in North Adams, this was the place I went to. His food was amazing! I never had smoked BBQ before, and he hooked me!
In his honor, I now have a smoker and have perfected the art of Pork and Brisket!
